Global start-ups and early stage SMEs are wanted that can design smart toys to apply and support children with their learning.
Description
“Smart Toys” are as educational tools, in the form of toys, powered by Artificial intelligence.
This is a competition run by The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the United Arab Emirates.
It will provide you with an opportunity to create smart toys that benefit children’s learning and engagement.
You can submit concepts for smart toys in:
health and nutrition
family support
child protection
early care and education
The competition themes are:
protect: Does the technology protect children from harm?
benefit: Does the technology benefit and educate children?
empower: Does the technology empower and inspire diverse users?
community: How does the technology help build an inclusive community and bring us together?
You can apply if you are a start-up or early stage SMEs that have a concept for smart toys.
Your smart toys should be designed to help children with disabilities from 3 to 8, solve challenges they may be facing in their learning and/or social interaction.
To take part you must:
submit a new concept or an early stage prototype
have an ideal that is your original work and meets selection criteria
your ideal must fall within the definition of smart toy
