A supermarket chain in Shanghai is looking for snacks and soft drinks to sell in its own supermarkets.
This company is part of a state-owned enterprise group established in 1992 in Shanghai. It is also a Fortune Global 500 company as well as having the reputation of being in the Top 500 China Enterprises.
It has a diversified industrial structure with its main business in the energy, finance, commercial and hospitality operations as well as construction industries. Its commercial operation arm has opened its own supermarket selling imported products.
For its supermarkets, it is now looking for UK snacks, such as crisps and soft drink products. It is interested in products that are in selling in the UK supermarkets already and have competitive prices. It prefers products with long shelf lives too (longer than 12 months).
