Description: The Department for Transport Central, hereafter referred to as DfT(C), works with its agencies and partners to support the transport network that helps the UK’s businesses and gets people and goods travelling around the country. The DfT(C) plans and invests in transport infrastructure to keep the UK on the move.
DfT(C) has an existing direct internet link at its office in Ashdown House, Hastings. This link has been in place for over five years and traffic volumes are expected to increase beyond its capacity (currently 100Mbps). DfT(C) was looking to replace this link with a new one offering higher capacity.
