Primary School near Northampton.
The Awarding Authority working as project manager on behalf of a Specified Location, would like to request quotes for the design and installation of a 12kW solar PV system.
A site survey is expected, enabling bidders to determine a suitable system design, which should be a non-penetrative ballasted system designed for a flat roof (1 storey building, hall slightly higher). Appropriate documentation and further details and contacts for the school will be provided to bidders following response to this tender.
Please include in the quote provision to assign an independent structural surveyor to issue a structural report in support of your design, issue an EPC, obtain DNO approval, provide appropriate handover pack for the school containing MCS certificate, warranty documentation, O & M manuals, part completed FiT application and any other supporting documentation. Technical details of proposed panels and inverters and schematics of the installation are also requested.
Bids will be evaluated in terms of best value and guarantee periods.
