4. Description: The RAL Space Department at the Science & Technology Facilities Council is working as part of a larger project, SPICE (Spectral Imaging of the Coronal Environment), and the Solar Orbiter Cleanliness Working Group. This group has identified that in-flight measurements of the molecular contamination rates via two TQCM sensors would provide useful operational information to spacecraft payload.
STFC is seeking to put in place a contract for the purchase of two TQCM sensors (and controller and testing at instrument level) to support this space-related technical research activity.
