The tender specifications cover the requirements for 2 push work boats
The boats will be used on the Dead Sea near Safi for:
floating anchor barges towing
floating pipeline positioning and pushing
turning around Carmelite harvesters which collect the Carnality from the pan
equipment and provisions transportation
They should:
be rectangular with rounded corners of welded mild steel construction, double chine and have the same forward and reverse speed at full speed
be around 10 meters long in total
have an extreme breadth of about 5 metres
have a maximum depth of 1.5 to 1.8 meters
have a minimum depth of 0.7 meters
be powered by 2 DEUTZ air cooled diesel engines type BF6L914C
have a propeller shaft made of steel Din 17200 grade C60
They should be able to operate under the following conditions:
the brine depth will vary between 0.75m and 2.0m above the salt base.
the aximum wave height could come to half ammeter (0.5m)
the specific gravity of the brine will be 1.23 to 1.38
You will be responsible for the:
design and build of the workboats and their components
installation of the components
