4. Description: The awarding authority are seeking expressions of interest from the supply chain to deliver the SCS & ESS Package for the specified location. The forecasted value for the package is approximately £20M+ over a minimum of 8 years. This package is for the HS2 Station only and does not cover works associated with the projects NR and LUL areas.
Scheme Design is progressing with our design delivery partner, SDSC. In this respect, the successful tenderer will be required to take design responsibility for the Detailed Design Stage onwards, this equates to developing and delivering a RIBA 4 design through to Handover.

The project has been visualised with DfMA at the forefront of MEP delivery strategy. The Project presents considerable opportunities for DfMA and our ability to realise pre-fabrication & off-site manufacture ensuring the project is delivered safely and on time. A major focus will be on the successful tenderer’s ability to incorporate DfMA into their execution plan, and any existing capacity within their in-house facilities and or identified robust supply chain.
The HS2 Euston project is incredibly ambitious and will showcase the latest in construction methods. Key to delivery will be the incorporation into each package the following elements which will ensure a positive legacy is left behind:

About the buyer’s selection process:
Suppliers must have extensive demonstrable experience of delivering similar complex packages on previous projects of a similar scale on large major infrastructure projects.
Selected tenderers will be asked to provide proof of ability to deliver packages of this size and complexity, have a proven track record with respect to DFMA, and show willingness to be a true partner with MDJV throughout the lifecycles of this project.
If successful selected suppliers will be required to go through Mace Dragados pre-qualification process to be included on the final tender list.
About the buyer:
Mace Dragados have been appointed as the Construction Partner to build a fully-integrated HS2 station at London Euston, together with links to the existing London Underground station.
HS2 Phase One includes construction of a new railway line run from London Euston to new stations at Old Oak Common in West London, an Interchange Station near Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and a terminus station in Birmingham City Centre (Curzon Street).
