Description: As a result of discussions and negotiations between Welsh Government and GPC Wales, Directed Enhanced Service (DES) Directions have been issued to all Health Boards (HB) instructing them to offer a Directed Enhanced Service for Oral Anticoagualtion with Warfarin. The objective is to provide a consistent, convenient and safe service to all Warfarin patients as close to home as possible through use of near patient testing and face to face dosing.
This will be for a two year primary term with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
