The health ministry wants to procure goods and related services for a list of medical equipment.
The Government of Jamaica has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the European Union-Caribbean Investment Facility (EU-CIF) toward the cost of supporting the Health Systems Strengthening for the Prevention and Care Management of Non-Communicable Diseases Programme (HSSP). They intend to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the contract for the procurement of medical equipment for 6 health centres.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW), now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders to provide the following medical equipment:
CBCT (cone-beam computed tomography) / dental x-ray system
radiological viewing station
PACS server (Mini)
ultrasound machine handheld
digital radiographic system
mammography system
The contractor is required to provide operational training to health professionals/end users on how to operate the equipment provided to its full capabilities as is intended by the manufacturer(s) in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner.
