Forth Valley College has a contract with EWM Hightec Welding UK Limited following a competitive exercise (PCS award notice reference no: JUN507148).
This award notice is for 3 additional welding simulators by the original supplier which are an extension of existing supplies. A change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility and disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance.
