Description: The awarding authority proposed installing carbon monoxide alarms in all properties with fossil burning appliances (gas, oil, solid fuel and wood burner appliances) to protect people against the escape of carbon monoxide (CO). The installation of CO alarms is an additional protection to the annual safety inspection / servicing of gas / oil and solid fuel appliances to our homes and will form a second line of defence against CO.
Scope of Work
The awarding authority requires a single supplier of Carbon Monoxide alarms. The supplier shall ensure they have the capacity and adequate stock levels throughout the duration of the contract to deliver the required number of units on a call off basis. The supplier will be expected to deliver 350 -400 units weekly to the Specified Location
