4. Description: Title: CVL Transformation – Package 03 Power Distribution, Switching and Commissioning – ITT
As part of the Transport for Wales’ (TfW) Core Valley Lines (CVL) Project, Balfour Beatty Rail have been asked to submit a quotation for the project’s Heavy lift and haulage requirements.
The awarding authority is seeking to engage the market for proposals which shall include the required cranage for 7 modular substations required to offload at Glasgow via mobile crane, reload, transportation and discharge modular substations at various site locations in Wales via mobile crane.

Programme:
Please see dates below we would require the modules to be delivered to Huntly Road to meet our programme for fit-out. If any efficiencies can be made i.e. if it’s possible to delivery multiple modules while making the earliest required date for that batch, please do so if not the required by dates would do.

Suppliers requested to express an interest and shall be subject to meeting Balfour Beatty Rail’s pre-qualification criteria for this package of works.
Documents shall be issued to those who qualify via Balfour Beatty’s Jaggaer portal. Access shall be supplied to those who qualify.
