A railway operator is looking for contractors to supply traction batteries for battery electric locomotives
132 battery crates are required.
Each battery create must contain 35 traction lead acid battery cells of 365 ampere hour complete with an auto-filling system. The new battery crate and cell case must be flame retardant and low smoke.
The supplier must collect and dispose of the used batteries and crates
