University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is one of the highest performing NHS Organisations in Europe with a proven international reputation for its quality of care, information technology, clinical education, training and research. The Trust is currently seeking to engage with suppliers of Ophthalmology Equipment (including Phacoemulisification), Ophthalmic Procedure Packs, Ancillary Consumables (including Balance Salt Solution, Viscoelastic Solution) Ophthalmic Devices and Intraocular Lenses as part of an initial market engagement exercise. The outcome and feedback from this exercise will determine the preferred procurement route. The procurement route chosen may involve a further competition against a public sector framework agreement or a full EU procurement exercise.
