In order to assist suppliers in relation to cash flow considerations due to the number of boats being purchased, SFRS will be willing to apply staged payments to this contract — where payment will be made for the outboard motor at the point the supplier takes delivery, with the remainder of the payment to be made upon receipt of the completed boat and trailer by SFRS.
The top 5 scoring suppliers from the selection stage will be invited to tender.
Practical trials will be carried out as part of the overall tender evaluation process, a draft practical trial plan is attached to this notice and suppliers are expected to confirm that they are willing to participate in these trials.
