(i) the names of the selected candidates or tenderers and the reasons for their selection: Capita Business Services Limited, Diona UK Ltd, EntServ UK Limited (trading as DXC) and IBM UK Ltd were the selected candidates due to submitting an EPSD appropriately showing their ability to provide the services required in relation to the SPM software to be developed during the term of the contract;
(ii) the names of the candidates or tenderers rejected and the reasons for their rejection: no candidates were rejected during the selection stage;
(c) the reasons for the rejection of any tenders found to be abnormally low: no tenders were rejected on the basis of being abnormally low.

A potential conflict of interest was identified in respect of a candidate at the selection stage and was addressed at the time by the provision of relevant assurances and undertakings. No conflict of interest actually arose, and the candidate subsequently withdrew from the process for other reasons.
Scottish Government reserves the right to place additional work, that will not be stipulated in the original statement of requirement, on the basis that the scope of the new services will consist of the repetition of similar services performed by the supplier to whom is awarded the contract. Such services will be in conformity with the basic project which the original contract is awarded.
The extent of the additional services will be limited to services required to support the delivery of benefits and will be a repetition of similar services performed by the supplier to whom is awarded the contract.
The conditions whereby further services would be called upon are if it is identified that further development of Social program management (SPM) or service related to the support and or maintenance of SPM is required.
The total cost of the additional work will not exceed 100 % of the original contract value.
