II.1.4) Short Description:
Transport UK Holdings Limited (TUK) wish to undertake a group procurement exercise to explore the benefits of aggregating the mains metered electricity and natural gas volumes of Abellio East Anglia Limited, Abellio East Midlands Limited and West Midlands Trains Limited (TOCs) under a single approach to the supply market.
TUK will not directly enter into supply contracts and the legal entities for any resultant contract(s) awarded will be the following TUK owned TOCs:
1. Abellio East Anglia Limited
2. Abellio East Midlands Limited
3. West Midlands Trains Limited
The estimated annual consumption aggregated over all three TOCs is as follows:
Half Hourly Electricity – 38 GWh
Non-Half Hourly Electricity – 6 GWh
Natural Gas – 20 GWh
The Contract duration will be for a minimum period of 6-months commencing 1st April 2024.
Prices for 12-month and 24-month Contract durations will also be requested.
Subject to any changes notified to Bidders in accordance with the Tender Conditions, the following indicative timescales shall apply to this Procurement Process. The activities and dates outlined below are for information purposes only and may be subject to change.
