Caerphilly CBC anticipate the DPS will evolve as the related change programme progresses and as technology changes. Future Lots under the DPS may include:
Device management, patch management and caching – core services needed to maximise the efficiency of local authorities and schools internet connections. The products and associated services will include (but not be limited to), device management services and caching services.
Software – key software and services used by local authorities; teachers and learners.
Teaching and learning/digital practitioner tools – peripherals used in the classroom to support teaching and learning. The products and associated services will include (but not be limited to):

— AV equipment,
— digital projection,
— intelligent whiteboards,
— intelligent TV screens.
Curriculum delivery and support – services needed by practitioners to utilise and exploit the ICT equipment in the classroom.
The procurement is to be processed in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) in line with the Restricted Procedure Regulation 28 and Dynamic Purchasing Systems Regulation 34 and administered via Caerphilly CBC’s e-tendering portal-Proactis Plaza.
