Pressure control is used across Northern Gas Networks Low Pressure systems to maintain a low annual average system pressure while ensuring supply pressures are high enough for reliable supplies over periods of higher demand.
In this Regulatory Period NGN have been targeted with maintaining our current ASP (Average System Pressure) against the opposing factors of Mains replacement and general growth. This means we need to grow our current pressure control fleet.
The requirement of this project is for a supplier to both supply and install Gas pressure controllers at up to 121 low pressure outlet district governors across 7 networks in the NGN footprint.
