NGN use pressure profiling as a fundamental means to deliver on our reduced average system pressure targets. This allows us to minimise our CO footprint by reducing the quantity of background leakage in our aging pipeline ahead of replacement. The current Equipment used is aging and uses old communication technology, it also requires much of the equipment to be fitted outside the governor building which in some areas leads to vandalism and theft. The purpose of this contract is to provide the replacement of 100 units.
