There are a quantity of cylinders which need to be investigated to establish if these are still required or if these can be off hire or need to be written off. Without this information the tender process would in hindered and the information given in the tender would be inaccurate. Following this process a tender will be launched in due course.

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a
change of contractor:
Additional time is required to cleanse the account and achive the correct data set to tender for a new contract.
Until the data set is correct, with cylinders no longer required being off hired from the current contract there is the risk of incorrect data being entered into the tender and therefore the subsequent contract. Duplications of costs would occur if cylinders were replaced across the Network, which are not required.
A new tender is being drafted and will be issued in due course, to establish a new contact for this service.
