This is not a call for bids or an invitation to submit offers. We are undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise to establish solutions that are currently available in the marketplace for secondary care video consultation. This is part of a nationally led initiative to understand the products/solutions available on the market in a way that enables Trusts (and Systems) to compare products and improve buyer education ahead of potential upcoming local/system procurement exercises. We encourage providers and suppliers to engage in this work and have set out our intentions in this prior information notice (PIN). Please complete the market engagement questionnaire available via My Tenders and return not later than 23.59 on 23 October 2020. A supplier briefing session will be held 11 a.m. on Friday 16 October 2020, to register for the briefing session and to ask questions and seek clarification outside of this session, please email nhsi.nationalvideoteam@nhs.net to register your place. Questions and clarification can also be directed to this email address. Please note ‘the Estimated date of publication of contract notice’ is included to indicate that further procurement activity is anticipated to take place in FY 2021-22, at provider level. Secondary care trusts are free to advertise procurements in line with its own policies and procedures and depending on value and procurement route selected, may not necessarily be advertised in OJEU. NHS England and Improvement is not responsible for the procurement decisions of providers.
