‘NHS Supply Chain sought to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for the supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock and Blue Diamond Route and to the NHS Supply Chain customer via the E-Direct route of:

— General Hygiene;
— Nursing Sundries;
— Wound Irrigation;
— Local Anaesthetic Gel (Licensed Medicine);
— Patient Dry Wipes.
This Framework Agreement is for 2 years with the option to extend up to a further 24 months. It is anticipated that in the 1st year of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases will be circa 29 600 000 GBP. For the full term (if extended for the full 24 months) the anticipated value is circa 143 000 000 GBP. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information with a forecasted level of growth. The values provided are for guidance only and are not a guarantee of business through the Framework Agreement. Applicants are advised that the Framework Agreement shall be established on a non-exclusive basis. The actual value of the Framework Agreement may be less than or exceed the estimated values dependent upon the requirements of those bodies eligible to purchase from the Framework throughout the duration.‘

‘The Framework Agreement will be between NHS Supply Chain and the Supplier. Under the Framework Agreement there will be 2 different methods of supply — q for Non-Direct Contract Products and 1 for Direct Contract Products. NHS Supply Chain only will be entitled to purchase Non-Direct supplies and/or services which it will then make available for purchase by:
1) Any NHS Trusts;
2) Any other NHS entity;
3) Any government department agency or other statutory body; and/or,
4) Any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector.
For supplies and/or services identified as Direct Contract Products:
1) NHS Supply Chain;
