II.1.4) Short Description: The Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for a quality catering service to deliver the Council’s and Renfrewshire Leisure Ltd requirements for a catering service for Civic events at various establishments within the Renfrewshire area including all Council premises and Renfrewshire Leisure community centres. There may also be a small requirement to provide catering for management lunches and meetings at the various Council premises. This is a mixed procurement for goods with services.
Each event will be unique and will have varied requirements. Renfrewshire Leisure will also utilise this service as and when required.The framework contract will be for a period of 2 years, with the option for a further 2 x 12-month extensions. The option to extend is at the sole discretion of the Council and dependent on the performance of the contractor.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Council is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for a quality catering service to deliver the Purchaser’s and Renfrewshire Leisure Ltd requirements for a catering service for Civic events at various establishments within the Renfrewshire area including all Council premises and Renfrewshire Leisure community centres. This can range from simple refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits to a full sit down service with a hot meal and licensed bar. There may also be a small requirement to provide catering for management lunches and meetings at the various Council premises.
The Council’s primary objective in this tender process is for the provision of a quality catering service providing a full range of services in line with and appropriate to the type of function being catered for and suitable for the venue in which the function is being held. The successful contractors will be expected to deliver to various locations throughout the Renfrewshire area. The successful contractor will also be expected to catering for events out with the normal working hours of e.g. 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday.
