With co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund, the University of Sheffield is establishing a flagship national Translational Energy Research Centre (TERC) to provide a multi-technology, integrated RD and D platform, focusing on low carbon energy generation and CCUS (Carbon Dioxide Capture Utilisation/Storage) technologies, integrated together with a smart energy management system. This tender is specifically focused on the procurement of a Waste to Energy (WTE) Boiler that is able to burn a range of waste-derived fuels, such as woodworking, agricultural and/or food wastes, as well as various grades of recycled biomass products and potentially RDF or other MSW-derived fuels. 2 Lots: Lot 1 – Waste to Energy Boiler 150-225 kWth Lot 2 – Waste to Energy Boiler 226-300 KWth Please note that only one lot will be awarded for this tender.
