II.2.4) Description of the procurement
STFC’s TS1 Project will develop and upgrade key elements of the Target Station 1 in its ISIS neutron facility. This tender is for the supply of a modular solid beryllium reflector assembly with the following indicative dimensions and approximate mass: Height – 700 mm; Width – 700 m; Length – 780 mm; Mass – 460 kg. Supply is for the production of the finished beryllium components only. Interfacing equipment, titanium fasteners and diagnostics shall be provided by STFC.
