A tender has been issued by a local authority for supply of Hepatitis B vaccines.
You must be able to supply Hepatitis B vaccines for paediatrics and adult use.
The authority wants estimated amounts of:
320,000 syringes or a minimum quantity of 224,000 for paediatrics use
35,000 vials/syringes or a minimum quantity of 24,500 vials/syringes for adult use
The vaccines for paediatrics should be:
single dose in pre-filled syringes
with 2 needles with the sizes of 5/8” for newborns and 1” for infants of 1 to12 months
with an English translation for the product.
The adult use vaccines should be single dose vial or in a prefilled syringe.
All of the vaccines must have:
recombinant yeast-derived (thiomersal-free)and be preservative-free
the generic name prominently displayed on the product label in a clear and conspicuous manner
expiration dates in English and/or Arabic numerals and in a clear and understandable format
a shelf life of at least 18 months from the date of delivery
The contract is for 3 years with a possible extension of 2 years.
