A railway operator requires a visualised remote earthing system for railway lines.
Description
The scope of the project includes:
provision of visualised remote earthing system including 97 sets of trackside remote earthing switches with multi-core control cables
provision of 12 workstations at stations and Tsing Yi – Operation Control Centre
provision of multi-core control cables for 28 overhead line (OHL) isolators to enable remote status monitoring and controlling functions
supply and installation of low voltage (LV) power supply for remote earthing switches and OHL isolators
provision of visualised remote earthing system’s backend system server with redundancy and the corresponding control software
supply and installation of patch panels, access switches, corporate data network (CDN) fan-out switches and optical fiber cables for connection between visualised remote earthing system and CDN
construction of civil support structures and footings for visualised remote earthing system
provision of a standalone remote earthing system for training purpose (1 remote earthing switch, 1 backend server and 1 workstation)
supply only of 2 remote earthing switches with associated equipment and 1 workstation as spare for future extension projects
