4. Description: Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment work. Warwick District Council wishes to incorporate a fun climbing activity as part of the new facilities to be offered when the centre re-opens in spring 2018. The Centre will be managed on the Council’s behalf by Everyone Active. Accordingly, Warwick District Council is seeking to procure the following works to design, supply and install an indoor climbing facility at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre. Once installed the climbing facility will be operated and maintained by the Council’s Leisure Operator, Sports and Leisure Management Ltd (Everyone Active). The completed climbing facility should provide a high quality climbing experience for all ages and abilities. The contractor is also required to provide ongoing support, maintenance, servicing and training for the climbing facility.
The contract will be for a period of five [5] years commencing 15th January 2018 with an option to extend the service contract for periods up to 5 years, upon satisfactory performance in the initial term.
The Contract Value is approximately �250,000 for the supply, installation and service.
It should be noted that this information is supplied by way of historic background and the Council gives no guarantee and accepts no liability as to the future volume or value of potential business which may be placed with a supplier.
