4. Description: The awarding authority is looking to procure a wireless temperature monitoring system for the pathology laboratories and services. There is a requirement to provide temperature monitoring for standard equipment e.g. fridges, freezers and incubators as well as ambient air in both pathology laboratories situated within the specified location. In addition there is a requirement to monitor certain fridges on some wards and theatres. Monitoring of both mortuaries and three other body stores in outlying hospitals with the awarding authority remit will also form part of this procurement.
The overall system provided must be calibrated to UKAS standards throughout and certification provided to confirm this.
The system will be able to display instant availability of each probe temperature as well as create historical records. Audible and alarms notifiable to offsite personnel must be also be supported by the system.
