The Awarding Authority has a number of pharmaceutical fridges across the Specified Location offering specialist services. An increasing number of medicinal products require controlled storage and transportation conditions of between 2ºC and 8ºC. Such medicinal products must be maintained within the narrow temperature range above freezing point throughout the distribution chain. The temperature conditions under which medicinal products are maintained over this period are referred to as the ‘cold-chain’ and such conditions must be assured by the manufacturer, shipping agent, wholesaler and pharmacist. The scope of this procurement specifically includes: Design of wireless thermometer system to meet the Trusts requirements. Supply, installation, configuration and testing of wireless thermometers including any gateway devices or other required hardware. Go-Live support, Training Services, Project Management Services, Maintenance and Support Services, Annual Calibration Services
