Chancellor Rachel Reeves backs third runway at Heathrow Airport

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has given a speech on growth in Oxfordshire. Towards the end of her speech, Ms Reeves declared her support for a “badly needed” third runway at Heathrow Airport in a much-anticipated announcement. She says a third runway could increase potential GDP by 0.43% by 2050 and create more than 100,000 jobs.
