Construction of trans-provincial suspension bridge starts in China

The floor construction for the suspension bridge over Chishui River connecting southwest China’s Guizhou and Sichuan provinces began on Monday. This bridge is an essential part of the Gulin-Xishui expressway, which connects Sichuan, Guizhou and the Pearl River Delta in south China. The 2,000-meter-long mega bridge has a pylon constructed on the hillside and the distance from the bridge floor to the river valley reaches 350 meters. Many migrant workers are employed to work on the bridge.
