How Leeds built an 8-acre park in the heart of the city
For this video we’re looking at a major new development in the heart of Leeds. Situated on the site of the former Tetley brewery in South Bank, Aire Park is a masterplan bringing 1,400 new homes, 800,000 sq ft of office space and other new buildings and places to a huge wedge of land which, up until a few years ago, was derelict land and surface car parks. The centerpiece of the development is an 8-acre public park which is billed as the UK’s largest new city centre park.
