Green light for housing scheme
Plans to build a residential scheme in Newcastle comprising apartment blocks and housing have been approved.Persimmon is behind the application, which is earmarked for land at Newcastle Great Park near Sage’s headquarters.The scheme will comprise 133 residential units. Of this total, 60 will be apartments spread across ten blocks; two four-storey and eight three-storey. Persimmon believes the project has the potential to create 54 jobs during the construction phase, as well as 82 indirect positions.
