Keir Appointed to Lot 2 of £300m Framework

Kier have announced that they have been appointed to Lot 2 of the Connected Contractor Framework. The Lot, which is for projects with a value of more than £10 million and the overall framework has a value to up to £300 million over the next four years.
In the first instance, the framework will focus on new build accommodation for private rent, private sale, intermediate, shared ownership and affordable rent through. The Connected Contractor framework also delivers care schemes, regeneration schemes along with community, retail and commercial buildings.
It is owned by The Connected Partnership, who are a leading consortium of Registered Providers (RPs), namely Octavia Housing as lead RP, with Origin Housing and Shepherds Bush Housing Group working predominantly in North and West London, as well as the Home Counties.
Cliff Thomas, Managing Director at Regional Building London & South East said: “Our appointment for this framework is significant for us as it is supporting our vision to grow our residential sector with a strategic focus on housing associations/ mixed-tenure projects. The Connected Framework provides us with an opportunity to work with several influential Registered Provider and is a fantastic conduit to exciting projects and relationships.”
Kier’s latest appointment follows on from their appointment on Lot 3 of the £1.2 billion Islington New Build Construction Framework which mainly focuses on residential mixed-tenure new build projects and will predominantly cover the London Boroughs of Islington, Hackney and Camden.
