Belfast BTR scheme set for approval
Plans to construct a build-to-rent (BTR) apartment development with 270 units on Belfast’s Ormeau Road look set to get the green light.Locka Ltd is behind the scheme for Havelock House, which would be demolished under the proposals.The structure would rise to eight, five and three storeys high and would comprise hard and soft landscaping such as a communal courtyard gardens, public realm works, 40 car parking spaces and cycle parking.The application has been recommended for the green light ahead of a Belfast City Council planning meeting next week (17 November 2020).A report said approval is “subject to conditions and a section 76 planning agreement to secure the green transport measures to support the development”.
