Mace Macro appointed as facilities management contractor for Superdry

A subsidiary of the Mace construction and consultancy group, known as Mace Macro, has been appointed by the high-street fashion retailer company Superdry as their new facilities management contractor under a managing agent contract.
Specifically, what this means is that Mace Macro is now responsible for overseeing the facilities management supply chain of Superdry, with the global contract covering a total of fifteen countries across Europe and the United States and will see Mace Macro delivering these types of services for a high-street fashion retailer for the very first time.
Mace Macro was appointed to this contract as a result of them demonstrating a capability to provide high-quality service across the company’s entire property portfolio, with specific attention paid to the visibility of conveying information across Superdry’s 225 retail units and 26 offices.
The Mace Macro Global Managing Director, Ross Abbate stated: “We are delighted to have been chosen as Superdry’s FM contractor. This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our capability in the retail sector with a globally recognised client. We are looking forward to supporting Superdry in creating the most efficient operating model and providing consistency, visibility and service excellence across their portfolio.”
The Head of Retail Support at Superdry plc., Sheena Waldron added: “We are excited to have Macro providing facilities management services across our property portfolio. We needed a global partner who understands efficiency and can deliver the best operating model for all our properties in Europe and the United States, and Macro have demonstrated that they have the capability to support our operations.”
Superdry shot to success in 2010 to become one of the biggest names in high-street fashion, expanding from Cheltenham to international markets in just a decade, after having been founded in as early as 2003.
