Pick Everard Lands Scottish Framework Award



Independent property, construction and infrastructure consultancy, Pick Everard has been appointed to Scotland Excel’s engineering and technical consultancy framework.

Scotland Excel is a non -profit shared service funded by Scotland’s 32 local authorities and is the centre of procurement expertise for the local government sector.

The engineering and technical consultancy framework has an estimated value of £72.5 million will provide local authorities and the wider public sector access to approved consultants for a range of professional services, with Pick Everard’s successful award seeing them appointed to Lot 9 to provide project and commercial management.

Euan Matheson, Regional Director for Scotland at Pick Everard, said: “This is a significant framework award for our Scottish offices, with Scotland Excel being a key and central organisation for public sector procurement. We are really pleased to have been selected as a core supplier for the framework, allowing us to further expand our gold standard service to the public sector across Scotland.

“Through this framework clients will have the opportunity to appoint us via a direct award, and we will have the ability to compete for mini-competitions across a broad range of projects – and we look forward to starting work on our first projects via this framework.”

This is Pick Everard’s first appointment for project and cost management services but is the second framework Pick Everard has been awarded a place on in Scotland in recent months, having been appointed to provide structural and civil engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering services via the City of Edinburgh’s professional services framework in November.
