The current contract for Education and training services in Pontypool is projected to end on 30/4/2018 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Education and training services in Pontypool included a framework of training providers in order to support the delivery of 2 European Social Fund (ESF) grant funded projects ‘Bridges into Work 2’ and ‘Working Skills for Adults 2’.The two projects cover a geographical area that includes the counties of Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil and Torfaen.This joint framework will cover both projects and is designed to provide a wide variety of training activities predominantly at levels 1 and 2 to learners, improving their employability and increasing their opportunities to progress in the labour market.
