Gary is an experienced chartered building surveyor specialising in condition surveying and contract administration.  He has an in-depth knowledge of land surveying, measured building surveys, residential and commercial condition survey, dilapidation surveys and administering the party wall act.

Richard Barnes – Field of Expertise – Quantum and Contract Administration

About

Richard works on the Dispute Resolution and Business Advisory Team.  He is an RICS APC assessor and councillor and is also a tutor for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Pathway modules.  He is a committee member of the CIArb Northwest Branch and sits on the education sub-committee.

Richard has experience of providing advice to employers, contractors, specialist sub-contractors and domestic clients on a wide range of issues from advising on obligations under the CDM regulations to the enforcement of an Adjudicator’s decision in the Technology and Construction Court.
