Ground Control Exhibits at Facilities Show 2016

This year, Ground Control goes bigger and better at the Facilities Show!

Last week, we exhibited at the Facilities Show at ExCeL, London; the UK’s largest FM event, which runs from 21st – 23rd June, as part of the Protection and Management Series featuring Service Management Expo, Safety & Health Expo, Firex International, and IFSEC International.

Back for a second year running after a very successful few days at last year’s event; this year, we’ve gone bigger and better with a stand double the size, featuring a bespoke display which showcases our services based on the seasons.

Joining us on the stand was Izzy the Harris Hawk, helping promote our pest control capability, as well as Richard Stedall from the Met Office, who was on hand to discuss winter weather challenges with visitors.

Also at the show, on the 21st June, we were invited to collect our 6th Consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal in the annual RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards. National HSQE Compliance Manager, Mark Curry took to the stage to collect the award at the special 80th anniversary event, recognising our continuous commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record across the board.
