Ground Control launches portfolio of services at the Facilities Show, spearheaded by innovative Pest Control solution
Innovative Pest Control and Auditing solution provides facilities managers with latest techniques and live updates and reporting
Facilities Show announcement: Stand P1165
The UK’s fastest growing external maintenance and commercial landscaping company, the award winning Ground Control, will use the Facilities Show (21st-23rd June) as the launchpad for its Pest Control and Auditing solution.
Designed to ensure that facilities managers receive the highest standards at all times, and conforming to the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) regulations and guidelines, audits including regular monitoring and inspections are conducted independently by Contract Managers and Mystery Auditors on the latest handheld technology incorporating both detailed reports and photographic evidence. A USP for Ground Control, non-toxic baits are used as standard across the portfolio both internally and externally to minimise the environmental impact and enables the measurement of pressure points easily and efficiently. This ensures toxic treatments are only applied when problems really exist, protecting both the environment and our wildlife as well as saving organisations money.
Additionally, Ground Control has created an app, which provides live updates to FM professionals and nominated client contacts, showing them exactly what they are receiving from the service in real time.
“Across the company, we are continually updating our solutions portfolio and diversifying into different sectors thanks to a continuous process of innovation, service delivery and customer focus,” explains Andrew Hollyer, Sales and Marketing Director for Ground Control. “Our Pest Control and Auditing service is a perfect example of a solution that is innovative, and a response to what our customers have said they require.
“At the Facilities Show this year, we will additionally be discussing invasive weed management, incorporating why it is more important than ever to have a policy around this increasingly problematic area, and what the penalties are if they are not controlled. With our training manager and invasive weed management expert Neil Huck on-hand to explain why invasive weeds have become such a big issue for many organisations and sectors, this will be an opportunity to get a full debrief on the facts and solutions available.”
The multi-award winning Ground Control, in addition to receiving the UK industry’s top accolade The Queen’s Award for Innovation, has achieved the Gold Medal for the sixth consecutive year in the annual RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2016, which will be presented on 21st June at the Facilities Show. Recognising the company’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record, Ground Control is continually raising the bar in not only this area, but across every part of the business, in order to achieve excellence in everything it does.
Commenting on the award wins, Andrew Hollyer explains: “Although we are no strangers to awards, including our achievement of 20 BALI awards for example, 2016 has been an exceptional year for Ground Control, which we are very proud about. The progress we have made as a business has exceeded all our expectations, and to be recognised for our achievements is the icing on the cake. Moving into the second half of 2016, our ambition remains to enrich and improve our offering constantly and become the undisputed partner of choice across all sectors”.
A truly national organisation, Ground Control provides a range of services including grounds maintenance, winter maintenance, arboriculture including retail, utilities and amenity services, vegetation management, landscape construction, landscape design, ecology and biodiversity, fencing, roofing, invasive weed management, asset management, window cleaning and now pest control and auditing.
