ALS unveil updated wastewater analysis brochure
ALS Environmental is one of the premier environmental analytical service providers throughout Europe & the UK. Its centre of excellence for wastewater analysis in Coventry undertakes analysis for some of the biggest waste management companies in the UK. To support its customers in undertaking sludge and wastewater analysis, ALS Environmental has updated its wastewater analytical brochure.
In helping customers meet their analytical requirements, ALS Environmental is able to support customers in complying with all relevant wastewater legislation, including:
- Pollution, Prevention and Control Regulations (2000)
- Landfill Regulations (2005)
- Environmental Permitting Regulations (2010)
Upon the launch of the wastewater brochure, ALS Environmental’s Inorganic Chemistry Manager Chris Law comments:

In addition to the wastewater and waste management markets, ALS Environmental also provides analytical support to the utility sector as part of the Chemical Investigation Programme 2 (CIP2). In response to the Water Framework Directive (WFD), CIP2 aims to improve the understanding of the contaminant sources of substances that hitherto have not been subject to detailed monitoring.
